Nashville, Tennessee – In a regularly scheduled monthly call of the Board of Directors of the General Council on Finance and Administration (GCFA), the Board voted to request that the Judicial Council reconsider Decision No. 1472’s holding that an additional General Conference session must be scheduled between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2027.
“Our hearts are in prayer for members of the Judicial Council as they weigh what is best for our denomination,” said Bishop Mike McKee, President of GCFA's Director of Board.
The Board also approved the sale of property by the General Commission on United Methodist Men, located at 1000 17th Avenue S. in Nashville.
