The Proposed 2009-2012 Quadrennial Budget

The General Council on Finance and Administration, the Connectional Table, and the agencies of The United Methodist Church have worked diligently and faithfully on the budget of the Church to be presented at General Conference this spring.  Much of the work has focused on presenting a quadrennial spending plan focused on outcomes that reflect the ministry and mission of The United Methodist Church.

The documents here are provided to give you insight into how the collaborative efforts of all involved have culminated into a budget that will provide funds to further the ministries of the Church.

It is suggested that you open the video in a small window and view the PowerPoint simultaneously in another small window.  This will allow you, if you desire, to follow along with the explanation and comments of Don House, a GCFA Council member and noted economist.
